A few days of summer with Stanley. This series was taken for a commercial photography project for Stanley's newest products during the summer of 2020.
This was one of the first times that our state was re-opening due to the pandemic. We were in phase 2 going into phase 3 when we called up our friends to do a fun summer shoot at their lake house just north of Spokane, WA.
The sun was shining, the temperature was perfect, and the company was even better. We’re pleased on how these images came out.
A commercial shoot for Zappos x The North Face this 2019 Holiday Season. We were asked by Zappos to photograph these sets of the North Face clothing article and review them on our travel blog.
In particular, they wanted us to highlight the North Face Thermoball Eco Hoodie, so you’ll see a lot of the photos of them here. Emily described this jacket as, “a versatile jacket that I would bring everywhere with me.” You can read the whole review, here.

There are a million ways to truly enjoy Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. One epic way, however, is to take flight with Fly Jackson Hole above the Grand Teton. If you haven’t seen the winter version of this flight, click here, and I promise it was a good one too.

The days are longer and the glacial lakes are refreshing; there was no better way to spend the week with Teva in Glacier National Park. As some of you may know, both Emily and I are a part of the Teva Explorers Collective. This means every season we get to test out their new line of products and then write about them!

On January 12th, 2017, I got to see the Tetons for the first time, but I also had the rare opportunity to fly above it. Huge thanks to Fly Jackson Hole for an experience I will never forget. Seeing the Tetons from above 14,000+ ft. is something else…
We flew out with our super knowledgeable pilot, Jeff, and he's called Jackson, WY home for over 20 years. His experience made this photo flight beyond enjoyable. It's refreshing to hear about the history of these mountains and the unique perspectives given by a true Jackson Hole local.

Back in September 2017, Delta came to us with an idea to inspire travelers to use #DeltaSkyMiles to travel all over the U.S. They want to send us to San Francisco to explore not only its downtown but its surroundings as well and create a travel guide for all of the places we’d visit. This campaign lines up with what we stand for so well, so it was an easy “yes” for us.

Emily and I are avid wine lovers, especially if they come from Washington. When Spoken Barrel Wine came to us and asked if we wanted to be a part of their 2018 holiday campaign, we were thrilled!
Not only we love the taste of Washington wines, but we most importantly believe in supporting local wineries. We were super excited to try Spoken Barrel for our upcoming trip. We love learning about their stories and what inspired them to be the way they are. These stories certainly help our vision of what we were trying to accomplish with some of these images.

We've done many helicopter flights before but we've never done doors-off flight and we've always wanted to.
When we arrived in New York City, we had to reach out to FlyNYON and experienced it on our own. We agreed to do a sunrise flight over all of the iconic places in New York City and wow, it was better than I ever imagined.
As we were up in the air we tested the new mirrorless Canon EOS R. So all of these photos are either from the EOS R or the 5D mk 4 (our go-to camera).
It was windy and freezing up there but we didn’t care. Everything looks super beautiful and different from above. A totally a life changing experience!
